A night we will NEVER forget!!! Such a sense of community joining the Chapel Hill Highlighters and Whitehouse First Ladies for a tribute performance.
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS have never been more special. The 50th Anniversary First Ladies Drill Team beautifully performed a TRIBUTE UMBRELLA routine in honor of the 1970 1st Line of the Whitehouse KITTENETTES. Mrs. Doris Bunselmeyer, affectionately known by her line members as “MRS. BUN” was the first Director of the Drill Team. She once described the Kittenettes as having GRACE, BEAUTY and CHARM as they took the field to perform. Today, 50 years later that same tradition continues. What an HONOR and what a TRIBUTE.
